Mrs. Emily Zanin / HELC Program Director and Lead Preschool Teacher

Emily is the HELC's program director and lead preschool teacher. Emily has 14 years of experience working in a childcare/preschool setting. She also has 3 children of her own. I know as a parent that you want the best education and care for your child while you are away. I am very excited to work with your children and I think you will be happy with our new program. We will be implementing a daily schedule with many fun learning activities. We will have fun educational weekly themes. Your child will learn letters, sight words and handwriting skills that will be worked into the theme of the week. The themes will also include some beginning Spanish words, math and science. We will be incorporating basic skills such as cutting, gluing and how to hold a pencil. In addition to learning academically, your child will also have plenty of free time to play and interact in a social environment. Our program will give your child the skills they will need to be successful when they go to kindergarten.

Mrs. Amanda Miller / HELC Administrator

Amanda is the HELC Administrator. Amanda handles all of the behind the scenes work, s and billing. If you have any questions about anything outside of the classroom, Amanda is the person to talk to. Amanda also juggles her busy schedule at the Howell Early Learning Center with being a parent of 4 energetic and busy children. Her oldest is starting his freshman year of high school and her youngest will be preparing for kindergarten this year.
